Foundation of the European Centre for Dispersion Technologies (EZD)

Dispersing is very important for the industrial processing of the basic materials in process technology. Therefore, the start-up activities for the EZD in Selb were initiated and carried out by the Cluster Nanotechnology together with the German Plastics Center (SKZ). The EZD was set up with the support of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology. A competent team with excellent experimental equipment has emerged here, specializing in the manufacture and characterization of micro and nano-scale dispersions, they offer development services for industry. The EZD and the Nanotechnology Cluster work closely together as part of the nanoInk network and in numerous R&D projects.
