For the first time after many years, the Cluster Nanotechnology exhibited again with a German Pavilion at the nano tech from January 31st to February 2nd, 2024, under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The leading international exhibition and conference for nanotechnology takes place annually at the Tokyo Big Sight International Exhibition Center in Japan.

The ongoing activity and presence of the Cluster Nanotechnology in Japan are crucial for promoting and maintaining sustainable cooperation with Japanese nanotechnology players. With this in mind, the Cluster, together with 11 German companies and institutions, had the opportunity to present innovative solutions and technologies to an international audience.

The trade fair offered a unique platform to demonstrate the diverse areas of application of nanotechnology and to meet potential cooperation partners from all over the world. We are delighted with the positive response and the keen interest shown by the many visitors. The successful networking at the German Pavilion itself enabled us and our co-exhibitors to make valuable contacts with each other and hold promising discussions about future cooperation in the field of nanotechnology.

The interactions during the trade fair clearly showed the enormous potential for joint projects and partnerships between German and Japanese players. We are confident that the relationships established during the fair can be intensified and expanded for joint projects. The trade fair attracted over 42,000 visitors during the three days of the fair.
