Introduction: In this role you have the opportunity to apply your experience in sales to expand revenues from European coatings and plastics manufacturers, especially of our antimicrobial product range. You will cooperate closely with the local CEO and report directly to the Global Head of Business Unit Coatings and Polymers.

Your responsibilities: Your mission is to expand HeiQ product sales and revenues in the European region through

  • Leading the European sales team for Business Unit Coatings and Polymers
  • Operating as a key account manager to select customers
  • Identifying new market opportunities from industry trends, market activities, competitors, and customers, and developing appropriate product offerings
  • Organizing marketing activities such as trade shows in concert with other team members
  • Coordinating production and logistics of nanomaterials manufactured in Regensburg with team members

You are:

  • A proactive, reliable and disciplined personality with strong project management skills
  • Very pragmatic and result-driven
  • An authentic team player, demanding of yourself and leading by example
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and preferably also have knowledge of German

You bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales of chemical additives, ideally antimicrobials
  • Experience in the coatings and polymers industry with a network in this industry
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Willingness to travel
  • Experience with EU chemical regulation
