October 29, 2025, Free Live Webinar

Turn invisible surface properties into measurable results and unlock the full potential with data driven insights

Understanding surface adhesion is critical for ensuring reliable bonding and coating performance – yet many processes still rely on guesswork. In this live webinar together the Network NanoAnlytic partner LUM and the Network nanoInk partner Krüss will show you how to turn invisible surface properties into measurable data, enabling smarter decisions in surface treatment and bonding.

What you’ll learn:
  • How to quantify adhesion with contact angle measurements
  • Understand wetting vs. dewetting  behavior
  • Use the Stood-up Drop® for advanced surface analysis
  • Discover LumiFrac® for measuring bonded joint strength
  • Compare adhesion test methods
  • Analyze adhesive bonding on plasma treated  PP, PMMA, PA6
Speakers
  • Dr. Daniel Frese from KRÜSS has a PhD in biophysical chemistry and, as Head of the Applications & Science Department, has more than 10 years of experience in transferring knowledge in interfacial chemistry and physics.
  • Dr. Arnold Uhl studied chemistry at Humboldt University, earning his PhD in 2001, and worked in semiconductor research and industrial instrumentation before joining LUM GmbH in 2004. Since then, he has advanced to Sales & Marketing Manager and board member of LUM’s subsidiaries in China.
