GMP is an engineering company for geotechnics, contaminated sites, environmental engineering, hydrogeology and geothermal energy founded more than 50 years ago in Würzburg. As an owner-managed, medium-sized company with 40 employees, we provide interdisciplinary consulting services to private and public clients.

We offer services in the field of geotechnics for building construction, industrial and commercial construction as well as the construction of traffic routes (road, rail, water) for exploration, expert opinions, consulting, planning, tendering, supervision of construction measures. In the field of geotechnics GMP is one of the largest engineering companies in Bavaria. In the environmental department, we take care of the waste-technical evaluation of soil materials and the consultation for professional recycling and disposal. For suspected contaminated sites, we offer damage and remediation assessments.

In the department for hydrogeology and geothermal energy, we advise our customers on all issues relating to water and geothermal energy utilization. The field of activity includes technical planning, tendering and monitoring of well construction and reconstruction for drinking water and service water use.

With our two assessment and investigation teams of trained construction material inspectors and further qualified samplers, field investigations and sampling of water, soil, and soil gas can be performed professionally. GMP - Geotechnik GmbH & Co. KG has been accredited by DAkkS - Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for sampling and on-site analysis (D-PL-14479-01-00). Furthermore, GMP is accredited as a testing laboratory according to § 18 of the Federal Soil Protection Act for sampling and on-site analysis of solids, water, soil gas and landfill gas (No. AQS B6/046/04).
