August 2022: the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg (TUBAF) has joined the network nanoInk, thereby strengthening and expanding the network's competencies in areas raw materials, printed electronics and additive manufacturing.

The focus of the new member is the automated production of precious metal nanoparticles, which are to be converted into conductive inks for inkjet printing through suitable processing and preparation. The focus of NaPaGen (a spin-off from the university) is currently primarily on the formulation of a biocompatible gold ink that can be used in biosensors, for example.
