Successful trade fair appearance of the network, Munich March 1-2

Following on from the successful trade fair appearances of recent years, the Cluster Nanotechnology was once again represented by the network nanoInk at the LOPEC 2023 (Large-area, Organic & Printed Electronics Convention), showcasing new developments and products available on the market as well as coming trends for the future.

Together with the network partners (GSB Wahl, TU Bergakademie Freiberg and INM), the network nanoInk again presented new developments and products of the network (e.g. new nanomaterials, advanced dispersing techniques, characterization methods as well as ink formulations made of silver, gold, carbon and platinum). Various applications realized with these different ink systems were also presented: from highly conductive silver inks with low sintering temperatures to highly flexible carbon inks to biocompatible platinum and gold systems.

The joint stand offered the trade fair participants a comprehensive insight into the complex fields of production, characterization and use of special inks, including the processing of raw materials and their formulation as nano-based high-performance inks or dispersions as well as the printing and manufacturing process. In addition, other technologies were presented (e.g. for optimized in-line characterization (Colloid Metrix), for rheological issues (Formulaction), for drop formation (Krüss) and for complex structure-property relationships (EZD).

With a total of 168 exhibitors and over 2,300 international visitors, the trade fair was well attended and the network was able to make excellent cross-industry contacts and find new cooperation partners during the two days in Munich. The network is already looking forward to the upcoming LOPEC, which will take place on March 6 and 7, 2024 in Munich. Contact us if you want to join the joint booth.
