The workshop "Hydrogen tank: using barrier properties of nano carbon materials" was part of the conference Innovationsforum Carbon from 26.-27. October. The results will be monitored and further developed by the Nanotechnology Cluster. The aim of the project is to initiate a publicly funded project.

Idea: Essential for the implementation / implementation of emission-free mobility is an efficient energy storage. Due to their high gas-tightness, graphenes are an interesting approach to enable the widespread use of safe hydrogen tanks.

Content of the workshop:

  • Presentation of previous technologies and products (construction of a conventional hydrogen tank)
  • Requirements for hydrogen tanks and applications
  • New approaches via integration of nanocarbons

Moderator of the workshop: Dr. Stephan Kronholz, ETC
