12-13th September 2018, Katowice (Poland). The third edition of the InterNanoPoland gathered companies and organizations from all around the world. Plenary Speaker Dr. Justus Hermannsdörfer (Project Manager at Nanoinitiative Bayern GmbH) presented the Cluster Nanotechnology and the Network NanoSilver.
InterNanoPoland is a science-to-business nanotechnology conference offering a great opportunity to present ongoing projects and R&D activities in front of world-class scientists, entrepreneurs, legislators, investors and media. During the conference prominent speakers like plenary speaker Dr. Justus Hermannsdörfer shared their experiences in establishing cooperation networks on nanotechnologic topics. The network NanoSilver is an international sought platform for joint projects and joint public relations as well as single entry point for contacts and information on the responsible development of nanosilver products.
During the sessions the conference also covered topics, such as: 2D materials in the industry, Materials production and advanced processing, Nanotechnology in biotech, Nanosafety - law and legislation, and Nanotechnology in big enterprises.
Some guests have been working for years on good Polish-German cooperation in the field of Nanotechnology including: Peter Homa, Founder of NANONET, Helmut Schmid, Fraunhofer-Institute Chemical Technology. The main organizers of the conference are the Foundation of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Support NANONET and Silesian Nano Cluster. The co-host was the City of Katowice.
Part of the conference, was the second edition of the Nano Startup Challenge - Poland. Young companies with great potential had the opportunity to present their project in front of the experts in startup incubation and development. Winner of the challenge is QNA Technology. producing unique colloidal semiconducting quantum nanodots for various applications.
